Dr. Gant graduated from Yorktown High School in 1966 and Ball State University in 1970.  In 1975, Dr. Gant graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry.  Upon graduation from dental school, he completed a 1 year-general practice residency at the Army's Ft. George G. Meade, MD.  From there he was stationed for 3 years in Vaihingen, Germany at Patch Barracks.  It was at this time that the love of his life, his daughter Lindsey was born.  She and her husband live in Arizona.  Dr. Gant is married to Debbie who is the Indiana Marketing Director for Community Association Underwriters of America, Inc.  Dr. and Mrs. Gant live in Yorktown.  Dr. Gant has been in practice in Yorktown since 1979.

F.A.G.D. designates Dr. Gant's FELLOWSHIP status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He was awarded this in 1982 for receiving over 500 hours of continuing education post dental school. Dr Gant is presently working towards his MASTERS status.

Lisa

Lisa Stephens is a 1984 Dental Graduate of the Indiana University School of Dental Hygiene. She is married to Jeff Stephens and they have three children. Cole graduated from Purdue University in December 2008 with a degree in Agricultural Systems and Management. Jentry is a student at the University of Kentucky. Maci is a high school student at Wes-Del High School. Lisa has been employed by Dr. Gant since 1984.

Holly

Holly Bryant is an Expanded Duties Therapist and has been with Yorktown Family Dentistry since 1988. Holly is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education. Holly and her husband Bill have two daughters Heidi and Kendall.

Shannan

Shannan DeLey is a 1987 graduate of Highland High School and a 1993 Dental Hygiene Graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Shannan has been with Yorktown Family Dentistry since May of 1993.

Outside of the office, Shannan enjoys spending time with her family, which includes Jason (husband), Sam (daughter), Tommy (son) and Lucy (dog). When time allows she also dabbles in golf and fitness (trying to keep in shape).

Jessica

Meet Jessica Guffey. Jessica is a Business Coordinator, and also monitors the BioPhotonic Scanner, and is an Expanded Duties Therapist.  Jessica graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School and Eder Vocational Dental Assistant program in 2004.  She is married to Vince and they have a daughter Addison.  She enjoys supporting her husband as an Army wife, being with her family, fishing, working out and the outdoors.

Melissa


Meet Melissa Goodson. She started with Dr Gant in July 2010 and is the Office Manager.  She has worked in the dental field since 2004. Melissa graduated from Delta High School in 1992. She and her husband Matt were married on June 26^th, 1999. She has a son Evan-Lee and a daughter McKenna. Evan graduated from Yorktown High School in 2010. McKenna currently attends Yorktown Schools and enjoys arts & crafts. In addition, they have 3 dogs….Maggie, Emmee, & Lilly.  Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and attending her nephew’s football games.

Annette

Meet Annette Mier. Annette is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. She has been a Dental Assistant for over 30 years, 22 with Dr Gant. Annette grew up in Gaston and is graduate of Wes-Del High School. She has lived in Anderson with her husband Terry for over 20 years. They have one son.  Her hobbies include training their dog Reba in obedience school, water-skiing, boating and walking.

Holly

Meet Holly Scott. Holly is a 2005 Wes-Del graduate and 2009 Dental Hygiene graduate from Fort Wayne University. She and her husband, Nathan, were married in 2007. They have what you would call a zoo: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 snakes, 5 turtles, and a fish tank. They keep her busy.  Holly also likes camping, fishing, working out, riding their Harley, and having fun with good friends and family.

Meet Shannon Creech. She has been a resident of Marion her entire life. Shannon has worked in the dental field for 21 years. She has two wonderful children. Justin attends Ivy Tech majoring in construction, and Morgan plans on being a Massage Therapist once she graduates from high school.
